Funding

We are currently developing a funding portfolio for The People’s History Hub which will include grants, subscriptions, sponsorship and donations.

Our funding strategy is to source the bulk of our funding from grants but we will also need to raise match funding from subscriptions, sponsorship and donations.

Creating high quality video documentary is a time consuming, skilled job that requires expensive equipment. We will need your help if we are to create this unique and important educational resource.

Sponsorship & Donations:

Individuals or organisations can sponsor the project  by making a one off donation.  Sponsors will receive end credits on all our digital artefacts. Major Sponsors (£500+) will receive opening credits on all videos (except on Commissioned videos).

You can make a one-off donation either via BACS or Paypal.

Subscriptions:

The most effective way to support The People’s History Hub is to subscribe to the service. You can subscribe as an individual or as an organisation. The type of organisations subscribing so far include – trade union branches, trade councils, Labour Party branches, campaigning groups, museums, schools, colleges and universities.

All subscribers receive each quarter a newsletter and links to the videos emailed as high quality downloads a month before general release.

Subscribers from organisations can also book a free 2 hour workshop delivered free by The People’s History Hub team.

Commissioning:

As an individual or on behalf of an organisation you  can ‘commission’ a specific subject-album on a subject of your own choosing.

You can choose subject inspired by the list on the Video Collections page or suggest a subject of your choosing. If you commission a subject-album it will include a  “Presented By” credit that will include your name and logo.

Commissioned subject-albums cost between £500-£1000.
